Plaintiff filed the application under Order 6, Rule 16 for striking out portion from her plaint, terming the same unnecessary–Provision can be invoked for striking out of/amendment in the pleadings of the opponents–Application was not maintainable–However, Court can invoke the suo moto powers under Order 6, Rule 17–Powers exercised by trial Court cannot be held faulted.
