Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 319–Scope for using the powers–Court must have reasonable satisfaction from the evidence collected during the trial that persons who are arraigned as accused, have committed offence and the satisfaction is necessary that evidence adduced on behalf of the prosecution if remained in rebutted, would lead to the conviction of the accused in the case–Mere existence of prima facie case would not be sufficient to exercise the jurisdiction u/s. 319.
