Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 120-B–Charge under–Sustainability–Trial Court discharged the petitioner from the offence u/s. 420 & 406 & Secs. 4/5/6 of Chit Fund Act but kept the proceedings for the trial u/s. 120-B–A person cannot be convicted solitary u/s. 120-B when he has been discharged of all other offences–The mere fact that Sec. 120-B is not enumerated in the list of compoundable offences, per se cannot be a reason for not compounding the offence–Proceedings quashed.
