Criminal Trial–Recovery of articles–Reliability–Witness PW 9 was declared hostile–He stated that the police took his signatures outside the police station, on a tea stall and nothing was recovered in his presence–PW 4 also admitted that he was the only witness who signed the recovery memos and PW 9 was not present there–Contradiction in regard to the date of recovery of box –Further, the owner of well from where the box was taken out, was not examined by the prosecution–Held, recovery is not reliable.
