Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985–Sec. 50–Applicability of provisions –If a police officer in the normal course of investigation of an offence or suspected offences as provided under the provisions of Cr. P.C. and in the course of such investigation when a search is conducted and in the process happens to stumble upon the possession of a narcotic drug or psychotropic substance, the question of invoking Sec. 50 would not arise.
