Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 300, Exception IV–Satisfying conditions for bringing the offence in the ambit of Exception IV.
(1) offence is committed without premeditation in a sudden fight,
(2) offence is committed in heat of passion upon a sudden quarrel, and
(3) offence is committed without the offender having taken undue advantage or acted in a cruel or unusual manner.
