Consumer Protection Act, 1986–Sec. 12–Quantum of compensation–NCDRC did not independently apply its mind to the quantification of the claim and blindly acted upon the failure of the appellant to deny the assessment in the surveyor report produced by the respondent–Matter deserves to be remitted back for fresh consideration on the quantum of compensation.
