Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 498-A, 323, 504 & 506 [Corresponding Secs. 85, 115(2), 352, 351(2), (3) of BNS, 2023]–Order of summoning–Prayer for quashing–Complaint was filed after three years of divorce–Except for the bald statements against the appellants, no other allegations are against the husband–There is absolutely no reason or justification as to why the appellants would try for a reconciliation by visiting the house of complainant when the divorce had already taken place–Relationship of husband and wife had already come to an end as such the appellants being relatives of the husband cannot be proceeded for offence u/ss. 498-A IPC and Sec. 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act–Complaint deserves to be quashed.
