Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 167(2)–Scope–Merely because the sanction had not been obtained to prosecute the accused and to proceed to the stage of Sec. 309 CrPC, it cannot be said that the accused is entitled to grant of statutory bail, as envisaged in Sec. 167 CrPC.
