Mines & Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957–Sec. 9–Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 1960–Rules 64-A, 64-B, 64-C & 64-D–Royalty–Calculation of–Royalty is to be calculated on the contents of metal in the ore produced and not on tallying or rejects which are not taken out of the leased area –Material returned back to the mother earth cannot be made the subject matter of royalty.
