Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998–Art. 33(c)(i) & Sec. 9–Notification dated 05-03-2003–Applicability–Notification seeks to reduce the rates of duty in respect of a particular class of lease and not all kinds of leases–It is applicable where the lease or sub-lease is granted for a period of less than 20 years and in respect of which rate of rent is fixed, but premium is not paid or delivered–In a case, where charges/security deposits are stipulated in the terms of lease, even if no premium is advanced and rent is reserved, the lease is classifiable under the clause (c) of Article 33–Stipulation of security deposit in the lease in question–Notification was not applicable in the instant case.
