Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 307–Constitution of offence–Allegation in a suicide note that the respondents compelled the deceased to do everything and cheated him and put him in deep trouble–Respondents were inferior in rank– Deceased was the head of the investigation team and High Court had reposed complete faith in him and granted him the liberty to move the Court–There was no warrant to be cheated and to be put in trouble by the officers belonging to the lower rank–Deceased also made the allegations against CJM and one Advocate–Allegations were really vague and High Court rightly quashed the proceedings.
