Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 307/34–Sentence of 10 years was reduced upto 5 years with increasing the fine upto Rs. 25,000/- –Case of acid attack–Victim suffered an uncivilised and heartless crime–Such type of crime does not deserve any kind of clemency–Held, both the accuseds shall pay the additional compensation of Rs. 1,50,000 each–State is also directed to pay the admissible compensation.
