Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 302–Conviction–Appreciation of–Case of pouring acid on the body of deceased–Witnesses stated that they saw the accused sprinkling acid on the deceased–Deceased was fully conscious after the attack–ASI recorded the statement and sent to her hospital–She was in condition to explain the police officer–Absence of marks of acid on the body of appellant cannot be a defence for him because the recovery memo showing that the rubber gloves used by him were containing the acid–Appellant was previous criminal background hence the witness could not witnessed–Conviction sustained.
