Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 227–Framing of charge–At this stage, the sufficiency of materials for the purpose of conviction is not required–Prayer for discharge can be allowed only if the Court finds that the materials are wholly insufficient for the purpose of trial–Even when there are material raising strong suspicion against the accused, the prayer of discharge can be rejected.
