Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 302–Evidence Act, 1872–Sec. 27–Conviction–Appreciation of–Case of circumstantial evidence–Appellant was living with the family of deceased–After committing the crime, appellant immediately left for Mumbai–No Explanation–After the arrest, his conduct was found suspicious–Injuries were found on his body which were old i.e. sustained almost ten days prior–Police recovered the knife and jeans of appellant on the basis of information furnished u/s. 27–Human blood of group B was found on these articles–Same blood group was detected on the clothes of deceased and at the place of incident–Recovery is supported by the prosecution witnesses–Chain of circumstances is complete–Held, conviction was justified.
