Maintenance & Welfare of Parents & Senior Citizens Act, 2007–Secs. 6 & 16–Rejection of application on the ground that order of interim maintenance has already been passed by Family Court in favour of mother of respondent and order of status quo was also passed by a civil Court–Bar of jurisdiction u/s. 27 of Act–Applicability–Both the suit and proceedings were filed prior to the filing of application u/s. 6–Hence, proceedings before civil Court and family Court were not barred by law–Application u/s. 6 was rightly dismissed.
