Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 39, Rules 1 & 2–Specific Relief Act, 1963–Order of maintaining the status quo in regard to suit property–Suit for specific performance–Authenticity of the agreement is disputed and requires evidence–Argument of the appellant that the aforesaid order of status quo is being misread and misused by the plaintiff and he is causing interference in the peaceful possession of the defendants–Held, order is modified up to the extent that the defendant who is concededly stated to be in possession shall continue to peacefully use the land for agricultural purposes, however, he shall not alienate the land any further.
