Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 154–Delay in lodging FIR–Explanation–Mother of deceased was a poor helpless lady–She gathered the strength to lodge the FIR–Deceased died leaving a son of ten months old–Delay in lodging FIR in all cases would not be fatal–Court must show same sensitivity in the cases of where the victim’s closest relative is poor helpless mother.
