Pre-Natal Diagnoistic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994–Sec. 28–Maintainability of complaint–Earlier, FIR was lodged which was followed by a negative final report as the FIR was not sustainable and only the a complaint could be filed–Thereafter, complaint was filed and cognizance was taken–Complaint was filed after following the due procedure–Plea of the petitioner that the incomplete or non-filing the form F does not amount to offence, cannot be accepted–No case is made out for quashing the FIR.
