Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 173(2)–Submission of negative final report–Denial from accepting–Prayer of petitioner that more than three investigations cannot be allowed in a matter in view of circular of State Govt.–Earlier two investigation Officers did not reach to any conclusion–They simply recorded the statements of witnesses–It cannot be said that there have been three rounds of conclusive investigations which can prohibit a fresh/further investigation–In the third round of investigation, IO sought return of file acting on his own prerogative–No impediment for him for doing so–Interference declined.
