Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Sec. 17-A–Scope–The previous sanction is required in relation to enquiry or inquiry or investigation into an offence alleged to have been committed by a public servant under the Act “where the alleged offence is relatable to any recommendation made or decision taken by the public servant in discharge of his official functions and duty’’–But no previous approval is required in relation to the offence alleged to have been committed by a public servant not relatable to any recommendation
made or decision taken by the public servant in discharge of his official functions and duties.
