Rajasthan Police Act, 2007–Sec. 38–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 457 [Corresponding Sec. 503 of BNSS, 2023]–Scope–Once an application has been filed before the Court informing about the vehicle being in registered ownership of the claimant and he claims the said property, the provisions of Sec. 38 of the Act would automatically cease to apply and the vehicle shall be released u/s. 457 of Cr.P.C.–Directed to release the vehicle.
