Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Secs. 7 & 13(1)(d) r/w. 13(2)–Conviction–Appellant accepted the receipt of the amount in his explanation u/s. 313–Trial Court was entitled to draw the presumption u/s. 20 that he accepted the undue advantage as a motive or reward–Pre-trap and post-trap proceedings were duly proved–Both the Courts gave the findings that the prosecution proved the case beyond the reasonable doubt–Burden was on the appellant to dispel the statutory findings–Conviction was justified.
