Rajasthan Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1964–Secs. 2(b) & 18–Public Premises (Eviction & Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971–Sec. 2(e)–For any premises of fall within the defination of public premises, it is necessary that the premises must belong to, or taken on lease or requisioned by, or on behalf of the State Govt. and includes any premises to the Authorities/ Corporation etc.–Premises taken by Company, Corporation, University would not be covered by the defination of Public Premises in Ambit of Sec. 2(b) as the defination is quite different from the defination provided in Sec. 2(e) of Central Act.
