Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 13, Rules 4 & 7–Two stages relating to documents filed in the Court-
(i) the stage when all the documents are filed by the parties in the Court, and
(ii) next stage where the documents are formally proved and produced in evidence.
Once the document is admitted in evidence, the exhibit number is recorded or endorsed on the document, only the same becomes part of the judicial record of the case.
