Criminal Trial–Recovery of the ledger and other material from the box which was taken out from the well–Allegation that the theft of box was committed by the appellants–Witness admitted that he never saw the housing material of deceased–It is not established that how he knew that the theft of box was committed–Further, it is doubtful that ledger and passbook remained safe despite the box was remained to drown for a long time–Recovery is not reliable.
