Hindu Succession Act, 1956–Secs. 14(1) & (2)–Applicability of provision–Executor of Will gave the limited rights to his wife through the Will–She was to earn the income from the property for her livelihood–Clarification that after her lifetime, the appellant will get the ownership of the property–Testator wished to give only a limited life interest to her–It would be the provision of Sec. 14(2) which would come into play in such a scenario–Trial Court and first appellate Court took the correct view that the sale deeds executed by her cannot be sustained.
