Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 467, 468, 471 & 120-B–Reduction of sentence by High Court up to the extent of already undergone–Justification–Minimum sentence of ten years is prescribed for the offence u/s. 467–Appellate Court would not be justified in reducing the sentence unless there are some mitigating circumstances–Impugned judgment set aside and matter remanded back for passing appropriate sentence.
