Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996–Rule 136–Constitution of India, 1950–Art. 243G–Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956–Allotment of land for installation of solar plant–Representation by the Gram Panchayat against the allotment–Whether it should be entertained ?–Panchayat has a duty to manage the land which vests in the State and to protect the rights of the villagers and cattle and so also to factor in future needs–Panchayat is entrusted with the responsibility to prepare the plan for economic development and social justice–Allotting Authority was to at least consider the representation of Panchayat and also to forward the same to State Govt. so that a holistic view of the situation could be taken.
