Transfer of Property Act, 1882–Sec. 53A–Scope–Section is an exception to the provisions which requires a contract to be in writing and registered and which bars proof of such contract by any other evidence–Consequently, the exception must be strictly construed–Observation of High Court that the defendants failed to prove that the plaintiff executed the sale agreement dated 25.11.1968, was justified–Interference declined.
