Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Election Rules, 1994–Rule 80–Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994–Sec. 43–Election petition–Allowed and election of petitioner on the post of Sarpanch was declared null and void–Respondent no. 1 prayed for declaring the election as null and void and to declare him as a returned candidate–There was no prayer in the election petition for declaration of election itself as null and void on account of the fact that certain voters had cast their votes at more than one places–Argument of respondent no. 1 that the election of Sarpanch should be declared null and void, is not acceptable.
