Rajasthan High Court Rules for Video Conferencing for Courts, 2020–Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881–Sec. 138–Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023–Prayer for appearance through video conferencing–Rejected–Prosecution for dishonour of cheque–Sec. 251(2), BNSS clearly states that the charges framed shall be read over and explained to the accused person present either physically or through audio-video electronic means–When such process can be adopted in a case triable by the Court of Sessions, the same mode is certainly available in summon cases–Petitioners have placed on record the medical documents including the surgery certificate of petitioner P–Considering the old age and medical conditions of the petitioners, their presence can be secured virtually through their counsel–Directed accordingly.
