Representation of People Act, 1951–Secs. 100(1)(b) & 123(4)–Election was sought to be set aside on the gound of corrupt practice–Plea that the publication was made with the connivance of first respondent–Hence, there was his consent–Knowledge and connivance are different from consent–No reliable evidence in regard to consent–Election cannot be set aside.
