Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 156(3)–Appellants did not produce the alleged letter written by the deceased, before the investigation officer–Even if this fact was omitted by the investigation Officer, appellants could have taken the steps to prove the document to substantiate their defence–Letter was produced along with an application which creates doubt in regard to genuineness of letter.
