Motor Vehicles Act, 1988–Sec. 166(3)–General Clauses Act, 1897–Sec. 3(35)–Limitation for filing the claim petition–Limitation has been provided in months and not in days–Period of six months has to be calculated from the date of accident on the monthly basis according to British Calender–In the present case, accident occurred on 09.06.2022 and claim petition was filed on 09.12.2022 i.e. within six months–It was not beyond the limitation.
