Motor Vehicles Act, 1988–Sec. 2(30)–Owner of vehicle–Scope of–The vehicle is subject to a hire-purchase agreement / agreement of lease, or an agreement of hypothecation–Irrespective of the fact who is the actual owner of the said vehicle or in possession of it, the petitioner who is in actual physical possession of it, is the owner of it.
