Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 304-B & 498-A–Acquittal–Appreciation of–During the pro-ceedings u/s. 176, no complaint was made by any of relative of deceased–Deceased was having a mental problem as she was having no issue–Persons who made effort to get out the body of deceased from well were not included as witnesses–Prosecution included 46 witnesses but no one was included as a witness, who was present at the spot–Further, no allegation in regard to demand of dowry was leveled at the time or proceedings u/s. 176–Prosecution story is seriously doubtful–Acquittal was justified.
