Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 306–Things which should be proved for bringing the offence in the purview of Sec. 306-
(i) there must be a case of suicide,
(ii) in the commission of said offence, the person who is said to have abetted the commission of suicide must have played an active role by an act of instigation or by doing a certain act to facilitate the commission of suicide.
