Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 379–Prevention of Corruption Act, 1985–Sec. 7 r/w. 13(1) & 13(2)–Conviction–Reversed by High Court–Justification–The approach of High Court in dealing/non-dealing with the evidence was patently illegal leading to grave miscarriage of justice–Matter deserves to be remanded back to High Court to consider and deal with the appeal afresh in accordance with law and it’s own merits.
