Tort–Liability of State–Death were occurred by drowning in water, while travelling in the boat in a dam which was under the supervision and control of Irrigation Department–State was aware that the boats were being used–It was required to provide safe and proper transport to the public–Liability
was rightly fastened on State–Further, the award of compensation by taking the income of Rs. 3,000/- per month is reasonable–Interference declined.
