Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Sec. 19–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 319–Scope–Courts cannot take cognizance against any public servant for offences committed u/ss. 7, 11, 13 & 15 of PC Act even on application u/s. 319 of Cr.P.C. without first following the requirements of Sec. 19–In the instant case, prosecution was required to obtain the sanction u/s. 19 before formally moving an application u/s. 319–Interference declined in the impugned order passed by High Court.
