Recovery of Debt Due to Banks & Financial Institutions Act, 1993–Sec. 1(4)–Jurisdiction of Tribunal–Proceedings of recovery can be instituted by the bank before the Tribunal if the amount of debt is not less than Rs. 10 lakh–If the amount is less than Rs. 10 lakh, creditor bank will have to file a suit in a civil Court.
