Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 406 & 420–Chit Fund Act, 1982–Secs. 4 & 5–Prayer for quashing the FIR–Acceptability–Bare perusal of FIR shows that the petitioner along with other persons opened a fake chit fund company and enticed the people to invest in the company in the name of good return–After the complainant and other people had invested their hard-earned money, petitioner closed the company and fled away with the money–Further, they transferred the properties in name of their wives–Held, no case is made out for quashing the FIR.
