Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881–Sec. 143-A–Scope–Provisions of the Section are prospective in operation and can be applied or invoked only in cases where the offence u/s. 138 was committed after the introduction of Sec.143-A under the statute book–Impugned order of directing to pay the compensation is not in accordance with law and deserves to be quashed and set aside.
