Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 457 & 102(3)–The investigation Officer wrote the letter to bank for freezing the bank account on 09.01.2023–Thereafter, the order of freezing was reported to the Magistrate on 27.01.2023–High Court allowed the application u/s. 482 and ordered for de-freezing the bank account on the sole ground that the order of seizure was not forthwith reported to Magistrate –The reason given by the High Court cannot be sustained–However, the direction of freezing of the bank account afresh will not be justified–Certain directions issued.
