Rajasthan Prisoners (Open Air Camp) Rules, 1972–Rules 3(a) & 4(a)–Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 394–Prayer for sending in open air camp–Rejected on the ground of conviction u/s. 394–Rules were framed with the intention of sending the convicts to open air camps to encourage good conduct, satisfactory performance and work and life of self-discipline among the convicts of Rajasthan and to provide these convicts with pre-release, opportunity to learn special adjustments and economic self-dependence–Considering the good conduct of petitioner in jail, a total remission earned the overall sentence period, satisfactory completion of first parole, minutes of committee are rejected–Directed to send the petitioner in suitable open air camp.
