Evidence Act, 1872–Sec. 27–Information given by the accused was proved in a most perfunctory manner–Prosecution did not make a sincere effort to legally prove the contents of the information allegedly provided by the accused to Investigation Officer–Further, the Presiding Officer of the Court was also not vigilant while the evidence of IO was recorded on oath–Evidence is perfunctory and invalid.
