Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 302, 376, 379 & 201–Conviction–Death sentence–Circumstantial evidence–Rape with a girl, aged of nine years and thereafter murder–Appellant was seen with a gunny bag on the next day of the incident–Silver anklets were recovered from his house–Body was also recovered at his instance–Extra-judicial confession was made voluntary and in a fit state of mind–Conviction was justified–However, the death sentence is liable to be reduced up to the minimum sentence of thirty years.
