Passport Act, 1967–Secs. 5 & 6–Citizenship Act, 1955–Sec. 3–Denial from renewal of passport–The petitioner is neither a “Nepali” nor she possesses any document in this regard–Had it been a case of respondents that she is not an Indian, then certainly the respondents should not have issued a passport to the petitioner in the year 2012–Adverse police verification report per se does not dis-entitle a citizen from his legal right to have a passport–Passport Authority is to take into consideration the facts/antecedents of the person who has applied for issuance of a passport–Respondents are directed to proceed the application of petitioner.
